SILENT GEORGE: A STORYTIME ADVENTURE

Silent George: A Storytime Adventure is an interactive event for children, featuring a reading of the beloved children’s book “Silent George” by author, Robbie Blackhurst. The event will take place at Liverpool’s Central Library, where children and their families can join us for an exciting and engaging storytime experience.

During the event, children will be introduced to the story of Silent George, a young gorilla who has not yet found his voice. Throughout his journey, George meets a cast of characters that need his help. With the help of his teacher, Mrs Butterfly, George finds the confidence to go and help his friends.

The event will feature a live reading by a storyteller, who will bring the story to life through creative storytelling. Following the book reading, we host a confidence workshop to help your little ones find and feel confident in using their voice. Children will also have the opportunity to meet the author, Robbie Blackhurst, who will be available for a book signing.

We invite children of all ages and their families to join us for this exciting event, where they can explore the power of their own voices and discover the joys of storytelling. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the magic of Silent George and his storytime adventure.

Copies of Silent George are available to pre-order. 50% of all book profits will be donated to Speech and Language UK to ensure no child is left unheard. Author Robbie Blackhurst will be available on the day to sign books.
